Speakeasy Bar & Grill: Reviews & Ratings

The breakfast food was good. I had an $8 basic breakfast. I gave this business 4 stars only because the service staff was excellent. The inside and outside decor need renovating, paint, furnature, window treatments and more. The air conditioning vents, windows and table bases were dirty. The upholstery was stained and torn in places. The table was sticky. The salt and pepper shackers stuck to the table. The TV monitor stand were empty. Tacky hand writen signs were posted on the doors. The place smelled of industrial cleaner rather than good restaurant food oders. I did not check out the bathrooms for fear of what I may find. The place felt unloved and joyless. Definitely more a evening sports bar than a breakfast diner.

Everyone here was friendly and I was passing through from east coast for work. Cheap drinks, friendly bar staff, and it was taco Tuesday, they were damn good

Dive bar where you can get some drinks. We went a little late so the kitchen was no longer open however they did still serve fried food. I ordered fish and chips while my wife ordered tenders and tots. Food wasn’t bad but definitely tasted like something purchased in the frozen aisle at a grocery store. The AC didn’t seem to be working or didn’t have AC as there were fans on everywhere. The deck is a nice hangout spot and they do have one of those jukeboxes where you can pay to play songs you want to hear. Overall it’s not a bad spot to grab a quick drink but I’m not sure if I’ll be back as there are better bars/grill in the area.

Nice place for locals at lunch and after work. Laid back atmosphere. Horse race betting is popular here. Nice smoking area just outside.

Stopped by to have dinner before the concert at the Moda Center. The food was good and the service was outstanding. Wish I lived closer, I would definitely be a regular.

Great bar with the best bartender. Amy is great! People are friendly and on-site horse betting available. No longer have pool tables though

Welcome to the Speakeasy Bar & Grill, a cozy haven tucked away at 15680 SW Upper Boones Ferry Rd, in Lake Oswego, Oregon. Here, the essence of a classic dive bar intertwines with the vibrancy of a local watering hole, offering a laid-back atmosphere where good food and friendly service collide.

As you step inside, you'll notice that Speakeasy Bar & Grill caters primarily to the evening crowd. The ambiance might hint at an urgent need for a facelift, with decor that feels a touch worn and tables that could use a thorough cleaning. Yet, its charm lies in the relaxed vibe and the friendly faces that greet you, as patrons unwind over drinks after a long day.

The establishment is particularly popular for its cheap drinks and enjoyable specials like Taco Tuesday, where the flavors enchant the taste buds of regulars and visitors alike. While the kitchen may serve some typical bar fare, such as fish and chips and chicken tenders, diners have attested to its simplicity and affordability.
